1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Who are we?

Secret Prayer meets every Friday night in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We pray that God would do his work in our city, and usually pray in and over a specific place in our city; past locations have included churches, businesses and city owned property. In the coming weeks we're going to change things a little bit and meet every week at DHOP to pray and to learn how to pray. Every week there will be an assignment, a short verse to read and meditate over before coming to that week's Secret Prayer. The assignment will set the tone for prayer that week.

This week

Meditate on Psalm 46 for this Friday. We will be blessing the Lord and seeking the Lord for direction and spirit filled lives this Friday. Leaders will be praying about specific direction and guidance from the Holy Spirit. We will be overturning obstacles and hindrances in our own lives and binding the works of the evil one.

Let us all just be still and pray for our vision tonight in the city. We will pray one for another for love and unity between the leaders of this city and seek the Lord’s face concerning the Night Vigil.

Remember our goal is to work with the Holy Spirit according to sound wisdom and judgment.
